2027 Chevrolet Equinox

LT establishes the range with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and Google built-in. More than 15 safety and driver-assistance technologies are standard, while HD Surround Vision is available for greater visibility during parking and low-speed maneuvering. RS gives the Equinox a sportier appearance through black mirrors, exterior moldings, emblems, and badging. Standard 19-inch wheels can be replaced by available 20-inch machined wheels, while a flat-bottom steering wheel extends the treatment inside. An available two-tone Black roof adds further contrast. ACTIV takes a more adventurous approach with standard all-terrain tires and dedicated suspension tuning for gravel and uneven surfaces. Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces distinguish its cabin, while an available two-tone white roof provides a recognizable exterior finish.

Every 2027 Equinox uses a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder engine producing 175 hp and 203 lbs. ft. of torque. An automatic transmission manages power delivery, while available AWD adds traction for wet pavement and changing road conditions around City of Industry and greater Los Angeles.

A standard Drive Mode Selector allows drivers to tailor vehicle responses to different conditions. Available AWD adds another degree of traction, while ACTIV combines all-terrain tires with unique suspension tuning for rougher surfaces. Properly equipped, the 2027 Equinox can tow up to 1,500 lbs., providing capacity for smaller recreational trailers and lightweight equipment.

The Equinox accommodates 5 passengers within its 183.2-inch overall length, balancing cabin flexibility with dimensions suited to urban and suburban driving. Folding rear seats allow the cargo area to transition between passenger duty and additional space for luggage, groceries, sports equipment, or outdoor gear. LT includes heated front seats, RS adds its flat-bottom steering wheel, and ACTIV introduces Evotex and sueded microfiber seating surfaces for a more distinctive interior treatment.

An 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen anchors the Equinox’s digital interface. Google built-in integrates Google Maps, Google Play, and Google Gemini voice interaction, while wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ provide smartphone connectivity. Wireless phone charging and an Interior Camera are available. Available OnStar® services add Wi-Fi® capability, remote vehicle functions, navigation assistance, entertainment features, and emergency support.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard with Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam®. Adaptive Cruise Control, Side Bicyclist Alert, Rear Park Assist, HD Rear Vision Camera, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking are also standard. Available HD Surround Vision, Rear Camera Mirror, Rear Pedestrian Alert, and Traffic Sign Recognition provide additional awareness in City of Industry traffic, crowded parking areas, and Southern California highway driving.
